Le Tan Loving Summer Launch 2011

It was the perfect day. Le Tan ventured to Sydney to celebrate ‘Loving Summer’ and to introduce our new Le Tan product ranges to Australia’s beauty media.

Journalists from Marie Claire, Madison, Shop Til You Drop, Instyle, Famous, Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Grazia, Woman’s Day, Dolly, Girlfriend and many more were all very excited about the invitation, which invited them to a ‘secret’ location.

The journalists were greeted at Circular Quay by the Le Tan team with coconut water & red leis. They then boarded a water taxi and as it crossed the harbor and arrived into a private cove their anticipation rose.

The water taxi arrived by beach landing on to the white shores of Nielsen Park in Vaucluse to the sounds of bongo drums whist a a coconut mocktail welcomed them to the red and white striped setting.

The beauty editors collected their white thongs and made their way up the beach to mingle and enjoy fish and chips in cones.

A hula-hoop competition saw the editors relive their summer memories whilst a live band played classic summer songs and the editors reveled in the sunshine.

A sit down lunch was served as Le Tan’s Brand Manager, Melissa introduced the four new products to the Le Tan range-

After a quintessentially Australian seafood BBQ, secret doors were then opened to a ‘Nookie Beach’ Bikini Bar, which celebrated Le Tan’s collaboration with the brand (Le Tan 35ml sunscreen were included on all Nookie Beach swimwear during the season and Nookie Beach created an exclusive Nookie Beach hearts Le Tan sarong as a Gift with Purchase). Guests were treated to a pair of bikinis to ensure they looked HOT on the beach this summer.

Gelato was served and the journalists reluctantly left the shores of Nielsen Park and the Le Tan Loving Summer launch to head back to the office.
