It has been estimated that if not for the efforts of Australia's surf lifesavers, around 500 people would drown around the coast each year. The value to the community Surf Life Saving provides to the public has been estimated at more than $1.4 billion each year.
Surf Lifeguards are always ready and willing to offer lifesaving support.
At a moment's notice, they risk their own lives to save someone they've never met. And they do this day in, day out. They are true heroes of the surf. But even heroes need quality equipment and training to get the job done.
Surf Life Saving needs the community support so they can continue to provide essential rescue and patrol services in the future.
Help keep our beaches safe.
